Leadership Planning

As per N.J.S.A. 8:52-5.2 Management and Leadership:

Planning is one of the fundamental responsibilities of a licensed health officer who functions as the chief executive officer of a local health agency. Planning relies on the ability to collect and analyze information, to communicate with superiors, peers and subordinates and to make decisions and take action.

Each health officer is responsible for the development of goals and objectives for each health department program and the development of a continuous quality improvement process to ensure progress in achieving the local health agency's goals.
